Veg Haleem


Ingredients:


• Oil : 2 tbsp
• Ghee : 2 tbsp
• Onions : 2 nos.
• Finely Chopped Garlic : 1 tbsp
• Turmeric Powder : 1 tsp
• Red Chili Powder : ½ tsp
• Coriander Powder : 1 tsp
• Cumin Powder :1 tsp
• Cinnamon Powder :½ tsp
• Soaked and Ground Soya Nuggets : 1 cup
• Soaked Broken Wheat : 2 ½ tbsp
• Soaked Barley: ½ cup
• Curd : 1 cup
• Almond Powder : 3 tbsp
• Clove Powder : a pinch
• Kashmiri Mirch Powder : 2 tsp
• Chopped Mint : 2 tbsp
• Chopped Coriander : 2 tbsp

For Garnish :
• Fried Onions : 2 tbsp
• Coriander : 1 sprig

Method:
• Finely chop onions.
• Heat oil and ghee on a pan. Add chopped garlic, chopped onions, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, cinnamon powder and mix well.
• Now add soaked and ground soya nuggets, soaked broken wheat and soaked barley. Cover the pan and let it cook.
• Once cooked remove lid of the pan. Now add curd, almond powder, clove powder, kashmirimirch powder, finely chopped mint, finely chopped coriander, lemon juice and mix well.
• Remove Veg Haleem in a bowl.
• Garnish with fried onions and coriander.
