Punjabi Cholle


Ingredients

Ingredients for Cholle:
• Oil : 1 tbsp
• Clarified Butter: 2-3 tbsp
• Black Cumin: 1 tsp
• Chopped Garlic: 2 tbsp
• Ginger Garlic Paste: 1 ½ tbsp
• Red Chili Powder: 1 tsp
• Coriander Leaves: 1 tsp
• Turmeric : 1 tsp
• Garam Masala : 1 tsp
• Chopped Green Chili: 1 tbsp
• Chopped Onions: Ό Cup
• Tomato Paste: 2 tbsp
• Chopped Tomato : ½ Cup
• Chickpea Soaked in Water and Boiled in Tea Water : 1 Cup
• Salt to Taste
• Roasted Coriander : 1 tbsp
• Chopped Coriander : 1 tbsp
• Lemon : ½

Ingredients for Chutney :
• Tamarind Chutney : Ό Cup
• Onion: 1 no.
• Tomato: 1 no.
• Salt To Taste
• Red Chili Powder : 1 tsp
• Chopped Coriander: 1 tbsp
• Oil : 1 tsp

For garnish:
• Clarified Butter: 1 tbsp
• Coriander Leaf: 1 no.
• Mint Leaf: 1 no.
• Onions According To Requirement

Procedure:
• Heat oil in a pan, mix clarified butter, black cumin, chopped garlic, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, Coriander leaf, turmeric ,garam masala powder, chopped green chili, chopped onions, tomato paste, clarified butter, chopped tomato, chickpeas soaked in water and boiled in tea water, salt, water and let it cook, then add roasted coriander and lemon juice.
• To make the Chutney cut onions, tomato and in a bowl and add tamarind paste, chopped onions, chopped tomato, salt, red chili powder, chopped coriander, oil and mix well.
• In a plate put the ready chickpeas and pour the ready chutney ad clarified butter.
Garnish it with coriander powder, mint and onions
