Poran Poli Strudel


• 1 cup jaggery
• ¼ cup gram lentil
• Nutmeg powder a pinch
• Cardamom powder a pinch
• 2 - 3 spring roll sheet
• 2 - 3 tsp oil
• Refined flour and water batter as required
• Icing sugar as required

• In a pan add water and jagerry and let it melt, then keep a little syrup from the melted jaggery separate. In the rest of the mixture put soaked and boiled gram lentil, nutmeg powder and cardamom powder.
• Keep the filling in the bowl and let it cool in the fridge.
• Apply oil on the spring roll sheets and put the stuffing in it then on the sides put the refined flour and water mixture and roll it. Prepare more such strudels'.
• Pre heat the oven at 180 degree Celsius and bake the spring roll for 8 to 10 minutes.
• Now put the jaggery syrup on the strudels.
• Keep them on the plate and drizzle with jaggery syrup and icing sugar
