Moong Pakoda Subzi


• 1 ½ cup soaked green moong
• ½ cup finely chopped onions
• 2 tbsp chopped ginger
• 7 - 8 garlic cloves
• 2 tsp carom seeds
• 2 tsp coriander seeds
• 2 - 4 tbsp gram flour
• ½ tsp roasted cumin powder
•1 tsp red chili powder
•1 tsp raw mango powder
• 1 tbsp chopped coriander
• Salt to taste

For sauce :
• 1 tbsp oil
• 1 tsp cumin seeds
• 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
• 1 tbsp onion paste
• 1 tsp coriander powder
• 1 tsp turmeric powder
• 1 tsp red chili powder
• 1 tsp tomato puree
•Ό cup curd
•2 tomatoes
• Salt to taste
• 1 tbsp chopped coriander

For garnish :
• Fried papad

• In a blender add green moong, finely chopped onions, chopped ginger, garlic cloves, carom seeds, coriander seeds, water, gram flour and blend it well.
• Remove this mixture in a bowl.
• In this add gram flour, roasted cumin powder, red chili powder, raw mango powder, and chopped coriander, salt and mix well.
• Make pakoras of the prepared mixture and fry them in the hot oil. Remove them on tissue paper.
• To prepare sauce heat oil on a pan. Add cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste, onion paste, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, tomato puree, curd and mix well.
Chop tomatoes and add to the pan. In this add salt, prepared pakoras and mix well.
• Add chopped coriander and mix in well. Remove the Moong Pakoda Subzi in a bowl.
• Garnish with fried papad. Serve with the parsley poori
