Moong Dal Hummus


• 200 gms soaked moong dal
• 1 tbsp tahini paste
• 1 tbsp chopped garlic
• Ό tsp lemon juice
• 400 gms olive oil
• 1 tsp red chili powder
• Salt to taste

To serve :
• Green olives as required
• Cucumber and carrot salad as per requirement
• 2 tsp olive oil
• Red chili powder a pinch

• Add the soaked moong daal in boiling water, blanch for 1 to 1 ½ minutes and strain it.
• In a mixer add strained moong daal, tahini paste, chopped garlic, lemon juice and keep blending. Then keep adding olive oil and keep blending with the mixture.
• Remove the mixture in a bowl; add lemon juice, red chili powder, salt and mix well.
• 3> Serve with green olives, cucumber and carrot salad. Add olive oil and red chili powder on the prepared hummus and serve.
