Masala Oats


Ingredients:

• 1 tbsp oil
• ½ tsp cumin seeds
• 1 tbsp ginger paste
• ½ cup sliced onions
• 1 tsp red chilli powder
• 8 - 10 curry leaves
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp garam masala powder
•½ cup chopped tomatoes
½ cup chopped carrots
• Ό cup chopped potatoes
• Ό cup chopped green bell pepper
• 2 tbsp chopped red bell pepper
• 1 tsp turmeric powder
• ½ cup semolina
•2 cups oats
• ½ cup curd
• ½ cup chopped coriander
• 1 - 2 tsp lemon juice
• 2 green chili

For mango salsa :
• Chopped mango dices
• Salt to taste
• Crushed black pepper to taste
• 1 green chili
• 1 - 2 tsp lemon juice
• 1 tbsp olive oil

For garnish :
• Fried papad as required
• 1 coriander leaf

Procedure:
• Heat oil in a pan; add cumin seeds, ginger paste, sliced onions, red chili powder, curry leaves, salt, garam masala powder, chopped tomatoes, chopped carrots, chopped potatoes, chopped green and yellow bell pepper, turmeric powder, semolina, oats , water and let it cook.
• Now add curd, chopped coriander, lemon juice and chop green chili and add to the mixture and mix well.
• To prepare mango salsa in a bowl add chopped mango dices, salt, crushed back pepper and chop green chili and add to the mixture. Now add lemon juice and olive and mix well.
• Serve the prepared masala oats in a bowl and pour ghee on it.
• Decorate the plate with the prepared mango salsa and place the fried papad on it. Garnish it with coriander.
