Berry Breakfast Tart


Ingredients:

• Butter : to grease
• Refined flour : to dust

For Dough:
• Refined flour : 2 cup
• Butter : Ύ cup
• Powdered sugar : 2 tbsp
• Baking soda : 1 tsp
• Refined flour : to dust

For Filling:
• Strawberry jam : 3 tbsp
• Muesli : 3 - 3 ½ tbsp

For Berry Filling :
• Strawberries : 5 – 6 nos.
• Honey : 1 tsp
• Blueberries : ½ cup
• Powdered sugar : 2tsp

For garnish:
• Powdered sugar : to dust
• Hung curd : as required
• Mint : 1 sprig

Procedure:
• To prepare dough in a bowl add refined flour, butter, powdered sugar, baking soda, water and knead it into dough. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
• Dust refined flour and roll out a thin roti and cut it into round shape.
• To prepare filling in a bowl mix together strawberry jam and muesli.
• Grease the tart mould with butter and dust refined flour over it.
Place the prepared round roti on the tart mould and discard the edges with the help of a knife. With the help of a fork prick the sheet lightly and add the prepared filling on this.
• Pre heat oven at 180 degree celsius and bake the tarts for 12 to 15 minutes.
• To prepare berry topping chop the strawberries.
• In a pan add honey, strawberries, blueberries, powdered sugar, and water and mix well.
• Once the tart is baked remove it from the tart mould and place it on the plate and top it up with the berry topping.
• Dust powdered sugar. Garnish with hung curd, berries and mint sprig.
