Bannock


Ingredients:

• Butter : 2 tsp
• Green Apple: 1 no.
• Sugar : 1 tsp

For Batter:
• Eggs: 2 nos.
• Milk : 1 ½ - 2 cup
• Cinnamon powder : ½ tsp
• Oatmeal : 2 cup
• Raisins : Ό cup
• Rolled Oats : ½ cup
• Sugar : 1 ½ tsp
• Baking powder : 1 tsp

For Garnish:
• Honey : as per taste
• Mint : 1 sprig
• Cinnamon powder : a pinch
• Icing Sugar : to dust

Procedure:
• In a bowl add eggs and milk and whisk it.
• Add cinnamon powder, oatmeal, raisins, rolled oats, sugar, baking powder and prepare batter.
• Rest the batter for 2 minutes. • Heat butter on a pan and prepare bannocks out of the batter and cook them on both the sides.
• Chop the green apple into slices and remove the seeds. Cook these slices on the pan and add some sugar on it.
• Stack the prepared bannocks and apples together.
• Garnish with honey, mint sprig, cinnamon powder and icing sugar.
