Soy Patrani


Ingredients:

• Soy wadi soaked 120 gms
• Patrani marination
• Fresh grated coconut 1/4 no
• Green chillies 1 no
• Coriander leaves 50 gm
• Mint leaves 50 gm
• Ginger 1 inch no
• Garlic cloves3 no
• Cumin powder 1 tsp
• Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
• Yello mustard 1 tbsp
• Salt to taste
• Banana leaf large 1 no
• Olive oil As required

Procedure:
• Mince the soy chunks to form cakes after seasoning . Flip the pieces over to coat fully with marinade.
• Put the coconut,green chillies,coriander,mint,ginger,garlic,cumin , turmeric to a fine paste and salt to taste into a blender and grind to a fine paste.
• Divide this paste into portions and use to fully coat the pieces of soy on each side.Keep aside.
• Pat dry the banana leaf pieces and smear lightly with oil on the smooth side.Place one piece of soy tikki in the center of each piece of leaf and wrap into a neat parcel.Tie with cotton string.
• Cook in a steamer for 10-15 minutes.
• Served hot.
