Pickled Vegetable Tempura


Ingredients:

• ½ cup refined flour
• 2 tbsp corn starch
• ½ tsp baking soda
• ½ cup pickled and blanched baby corn, celery, French beans and carrots
• Oil to fry
• Ό cup pickled cauliflower and broccoli

For dip :
• 1 tbsp sour cream
• 1 tsp chopped parsley
• ½ tsp lemon juice
• 1 tsp honey
• Crushed black pepper to taste
• 1 tsp fennel powder

Procedure:
• To prepare the batter; in a bowl add refined flour, baking soda and cold water and mix.
• Coat the pickled and blanched baby corn, celery, French beans and carrots with the batter and fry them in hot oil and then remove on a tissue paper.
• Coat the pickled cauliflower and broccoli with the batter and fry in hot oil. Remove on a tissue paper.
• To prepare the dip; in a bowl add sour cream, chopped parsley, lemon juice, crushed black pepper and fennel powder and mix.
• Add the dip into shot glasses and place it on the plate.
• Keep the fried vegetables on the same plate and serve.
