Jimikand Kebabs


• Ό cup boiled and grated yam
• 2 tbsp boiled and grinded split bengal gram
• 2 tsp finely chopped green chili
• 1 tsp crushed garlic pods
• 1 tsp garam masala powder
• Salt to taste
• ½ tsp red chili powder
• 1 tbsp oil

To serve :
• Tomato chutney as required

For garnish :
• Coriander leaves as required

• In a bowl add the boiled and grated yam and mash it. Add the boiled and grinded split Bengal gram, finely chopped green chili, crushed garlic pods, garam masala powder, salt, red chili powder and mix. Mash it well to make a paste.
• Add oil in a pan and give a shape to the kebab mixture. Pan sears the kebabs from both sides.
• Remove on a plate and serve with tomato chutney.
• Garnish the kebabs with coriander leaves.
